Resumé

Helen E. Keenan is a lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland UK. Her research interests are in analytical chemistry, developing analytical methodology, environmental monitoring & modelling of pollutants in the environment, Environmental Quality Standards (EQS) and fate prediction for Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs). Her current activities include: Director MRes in IPPC, Geo-environmental Engineering & Sustainable Construction and Infrastructure; Director Environmental Pollution & Health Effects group; Consultant to UNIDO for installation of regional laboratory facilities (E&SE Asia) for compliance monitoring for POPs. Dr. Keenan is currently the Chairperson of Working Group 37 on environmental mercury.
